Arsenal and Man City looking to sign Serie A forward who could become the next Mohamed Salah

Arsenal will look to reinvigorate their attack in the summer transfer window and they have been credited with an interest in one of the finest young talents in Serie A today.

The Mirror report that Arsenal are keen on signing Cengiz Under from Roma in the summer, but Roma have warned the Gunners off making a potential move for the 20-year-old, stating he is not for sale.

Under scored nine goals and provided seven assists for Basaksehir last season, promoting Roma to spend €14m on bringing him to the Italian capital where he has continued to flourish.

Despite starting the season on the periphery of the squad, the Turkey international has cemented a starting role for himself in the Roma team of late, starting 10 of the last 11 games in Serie A and the Champions League combined, netting six goals in the process.

The Turk could follow a similar path taken by Mohamed Salah who rose to prominence in Serie A at Roma before completing a big money to the Premier League with Liverpool last summer.

Aware of interest from Arsenal in the young right winger, Roma sporting director Monchi has insisted the club have huge plans for Under and that he won’t be leaving in the summer. Manchester City are also interested.
