Arsenal forward ready to fight for his future

Lucas Perez is reportedly ready to fight for his future with Arsenal ahead of next season.

As per a report from the Evening Standard, the experienced forward is enduring a torrid time out on loan with Deportivo La Coruna and is prepared to do all he can to rescue his Arsenal career next season.

Perez joined in the summer of 2016 but was not utilised often enough by Arsene Wenger. This led the forward to seek a return to his homeland of Spain, re-joining Deportivo on a season-long loan.

However, it has not worked out for Perez at the La Liga club and the fans have quickly turned on him after a string of poor performances.

Depor are understood to not be looking to sign Perez on a permanent deal, which will mean that he is back on Arsenal’s books as of the summer.

Perez showed only glimpses of quality during his short stint at Arsenal in the 2016/17 season and will seemingly be desperate to prove his worth to Arsene Wenger once more.
