Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has admitted that he would be amazed if the club were to allow full-back Hector Bellerin to leave the club according to Goal.
A number of clubs around Europe have shown a strong interest in the player including Juventus and Barcelona despite some poor performances of late.
Bellerin has been a long-term target for the Spanish giants but a real dip in form has resulted in the Arsenal full backs progress of a move being halted.
Bellerin earlier in his career as he spent some time at the La Masia academy system at Camp Nou before coming to England.
He made his senior debut at Arsenal and has been a regular since breaking through and becomes a key player for the team moving forward.
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour admits he would be surprised if the club were to let the 22-year-old leave the club in a recent interview with TalkSport:
I’d be amazed if Arsenal sold Bellerin. He’s still a young player, he’s still learning and he wants to learn.
I still think defensively he has to get better, but he can get better. He’s not had the greatest of seasons and I think he’d be the first to admit that, but I do rate him a lot.”
