Arsenal striker makes admission over recent form

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang feels that his confidence has been boosted by his strike against Watford in the Premier League yesterday, as reported by BBC Sport.

The Gunners claimed a 3-0 victory against Watford in the Premier League which ended a run of three consecutive losses in the competition.

Gabon international Aubameyang has scored three goals in his opening five matches for the club since his move from Borussia Dortmund in January.

The January signing has been limited to action in the Premier League as he is cup tied in the Europa League to this point. He linked up superbly with his former Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan to score the second in the 3-0 win over the Hornets yesterday.

He became the club’s most expensive signing and is really starting to show his worth. Aubameyang will be desperate to make a big impact on the club in the years to come.

The forward spoke about his recent return to form.

I’m feeling really better; in January I didn’t play a lot so it was difficult when I came here, but I’m feeling better and I try to do my best of course for the team and for the club.

I think the team did very well and we are all happy, we are feeling better of course. We feel the confidence is back.
