Arsenal player ratings: Watford (H)
Arsenal found the winning formula against Watford on Sunday to end a run of defeats in the Premier League.
The Gunners beat Watford 3-0 at The Emirates to secure the three points, although they stay in sixth place.
Chelsea remain well clear of them in fifth, with Tottenham above them in the last Champions League position.
Sixth appears to be the best Arsenal can hope for now this season, after a number of poor results in the league throughout the campaign.
Shkodran Mustafi scored the opening goal of the game early on. Mesut Ozil whipped in an inch-perfect free-kick, with his fellow German heading the ball into the top corner.
Aubameyang doubled Arsenal’s lead in the second-half. Mkhitaryan slotted the ball through, with Aubameyang rounding the goalkeeper before passing it into the back of the net.
Petr Cech then saved a Troy Deeney penalty to keep his 200th Premier League clean sheet.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan rounded off the scoring as he rolled the ball into the back of the net from Aubameyang’s lay-off.
