Arsenal target Lautaro Martinez is set to join Inter Milan for £21 million this summer, according to his agent, as reported by talkSPORT.
The striker has really attracted interest from around Europe after some fine performances in Argentina with Racing Club this season.
The Gunners have been keen on the player but Inter look like they have won the race to complete the signing of the player.
Rolando Zarate, the player’s agent, spoke about his client’s situation:
Martinez will go to Inter for a total of $30 million [£21 million]. I’ve always talked to the Nerazzurri about him going in June, they’ll never agree to leave him in Argentina until December.
Inter attempted to sign him in January and are set to secure a deal for the 20-year-old when the transfer window reopens. He has claimed eight goals and three assists in the league for Racing Club this season and is set to earn a move to one of the biggest clubs in world football come the summer.
The player is still inexperienced but will hope to improve at a club of Inter’s prestige.
