Arsenal defender ruled out of Milan clash

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin will miss his side’s Europa League tie against AC Milan on Thursday due to a knee problem as reported by the Mirror.

As a result he has not travelled with the rest of the squad for the tie with Milan as it looks like he could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The 22-year-old was named on the bench for the defeat at Brighton last weekend as a precaution of his injury which has been sustained.

The club did this in hope that he would be fit for the vital Europa League tie but he has failed to win the race to be back fit in time for the game.

The issue has been a problem for Bellerin for a number of weeks now but he was keen to play despite the injury but the medical staff feel it’s a sensible decision for him to miss the game against Italian giants AC Milan tonight.
