Long-serving Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has called for “perspective” following another defeat for his side in the Premier League to Manchester City last night, the Daily Mail reports.
The Gunners have really struggled so far this season and are way behind in the race for the top four. They look set to have to settle for a 6th placed finish in the league.
They remain in the Europa League but face a battle to win the competition with the calibre of teams that remain in the competition.

The Frenchman insisted that his side must have no shame in losing to Manchester City for the second time in the space of a week. Wenger spoke about the situation:
You look at the score and the temptation is to think it was all rubbish, but that is not the case. You have to take a perspective, sit back, look at the whole picture and analyse where we were poor and where we were strong. You have to insist on the strong points and get rid of the weak points we showed last night.
City also beat Arsenal 3-0 in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday afternoon as the pressure heightened on the Gunners boss.
A number of former Arsenal players have called for Wenger to call it a day, claiming that his tactics are out of date compared to other managers.
