Arsenal and Barcelona join Bayern in race to sign French striker, Chelsea held talks to sign him

Nabil Fekir is one Lyon attacker that Arsenal want to sign in order to link up again with former teammate Alexandre Lacazette, but the Gunners are being linked with a second.

The Guardian note that both Arsenal and Barcelona are interested in signing highly-rated Lyon teenager Willem Geubbels in the summer following a breakthrough campaign in France.

Geubbels made his first-team debut for Lyon in September 2017 and has made four appearances for the club this season and could be on the move in the summer.

With his contract expiring after this season, Lyon were hoping to persuade the 16-year-old to sign a first professional contract with the club but it seems as if he will leave.

Both Bayern Munich and Chelsea reportedly held talks to sign the attacker during the January transfer window and both Liverpool and Tottenham were linked with a move for the France U17 international earlier in January but now Arsenal and Barcelona have joined the race.
