# Mkhitaryan targets consecutive Europa League title wins

January signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan wants Arsenal to emulate Manchester United’s success in the Europa League.

The Armenian attacker is targetting back-to-back Europa League title wins, and he is tipping Arsenal to do it this season.

Mkhitaryan was instrumental for United in their journey to the final where they triumphed over Ajax, scoring six times in 11 matches in the competition.

Having started with a bang since signing for Arsenal last month, Mkhitaryan admits he has big ambitions for the Gunners, and it starts with Europa League victory. Talking to BT Sport, he said;

> It was their first game after a while and because we are in the league and keep playing maybe we are more practiced.
>
> They are a good team, tried to play, but we scored two in the beginning.
>
> We have to keep fighting and in the end see where we’re at.
>
> We have to focus on every game regardless of this result to ensure more success.
>
> Even with the League Cup final, I think we have to play with the same team and win at home.

Following the 3-0 away victory, Arsenal already have one foot in the next round. However first they must play Ostersunds in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium, to take place next Thursday.
