Arsenal winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan has said that he loves playing alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The duo joined Arsenal from Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund respectively in January, but were also teammates at Dortmund.
Mkhitaryan says that it is a dream to link up with Aubameyang again, after their incredible form with each other in the Bundesliga.
In his last season for Dortmund, Mkhitaryan hit 21 goals and 26 assists for club and country in all competitions.
He started life at Arsenal in a similar vein, with three assists on his debut against Everton, whilst Aubameyang netted his first for the club in the same match.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Mkhitaryan said this:
I thought it could only be in a dream that we could join another club other than Dortmund but I am very happy for that. I know him very well, he is one of my best friends and one of the best team-mates I have ever had.
I am very happy to have him here and I think all the fans are happy to see him in an Arsenal shirt. What can I say? I love playing with him.
