Arsenal want to bring back Oguzhan Ozyakup
Arsenal have made a contract offer to their former player Oguzhan Ozyakup, as they look to re-sign the player, according to the Daily Mail.
The report, which cites Turkish newspaper Aksam via Milliyet, claims the Gunners are keen to add options to their midfield and have offered the player a deal to join the club at the climax of the current season.
He would arrive at the Emirates for free with his current contract set to expire in June this year.
He originally joined Arsene Wenger’s side in 2008 but found it tough to break through and make any kind of impact at the club.
Ozyakup left Arsenal to join Turkish side Besiktas for just £500,000 back in 2012, since moving back to his home country, the midfielder has flourished, becoming a key figure in club’s midfield.
The midfielder has represented Turkey on 30 different occasions and has two Turkish league titles to his name.
