Aubameyang sends message to the Premier League after debut

New Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent a warning message to the rest of the Premier League following his impressive debut against Everton.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Aubameyang admitted that the best is yet to come after the Gabon striker scored on his first Premier League start.

Of course I was really happy. We won the game in the first half and the second was a bit different. We are all happy. Is there more to come from me? I think so.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward was not expected to start against Everton, but he showed Arsenal fans a glimpse of what is to come.

Aubameyang linked up brilliantly with fellow new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan, with the latter setting up three of the five goals.

It was Aubameyang who scored Arsenal’s fourth of the game with a delicate effort, lifting the ball over the outrushing Jordan Pickford, despite some calls for offside.

There had been some concerns about how Arsene Wenger would fit the likes of Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette all in one team, but the latter started on the bench.
