Arsenal are considering a summer swoop for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
According to The Evening Standard, Oblak is Arsenal’s ideal target to replace Petr Cech next season.
Cech has come under fire over the course of the past couple of seasons, after a number of high-profile blunders.
The former Chelsea shot-stopper could not be forced out of the club at the end of the season, to make way for Oblak to come in.

Oblak is rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the the world at the moment. He has been a consistent performer for Atletico in La Liga and the Champions League.
The report does claim, though, that the deal may depend on Arsenal qualifying for the Champions League for next season.
It is thought that Arsenal may not be able to attract a player of Oblak’s ilk if they are not competing in Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
