Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil will sign a new three-year deal at Arsenal according to reports by Sky Sports.
His current deal expires this summer and the Gunners were fearing he would leave on a free transfer but it now appears that a new contract is close to being agreed.
Ozil has been happy with the way the club has spent their money this month with the addition of Henrikh Mkhitaryan already in a swap with Alexis Sanchez whilst a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to being done.

Over the course of his time at Arsenal, the German international has played a vital role in the way in which the team play going forward and it’s imperative that they keep the player at the club and build the team around him.
Ozil has been one of Arsenal’s more impressive performers especially in recent weeks, notching four assists and scoring four goals in 23 games and he remains an important player for the club and someone they must keep beyond the summer.
