Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik is closing in on a loan move to League One outfit Walsall before tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.
Reports suggest that Bielik is in advanced talks with Walsall to join until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who can shift between centre-back and midfield, has recently spent three months out after shoulder surgery.
Walsall were not the only League One side to be interested in the youngster, but it appears Bielik fancies a move to the Midlands
Bielik signed for Arsenal in 2015 but has not been able to break in to the first team and spent last year on loan at Birmingham, where he made 10 appearances to help them escape relegation.
Bielik is way down the pecking order at Arsenal, but with his club’s increasing defensive problems, the Polish defender will be hoping to make an impact in League One and return a better player and possibly force his way into Arsene Wenger’s plans.
