Aubameyang joins Arsenal on a long-term contract after finally completing his long-awaited move away from Dortmund. The deal is believed to have set Arsenal back roughly £60m.
In what has been one of the stories of January, Aubameyang joins the club as a direct replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who left for Manchester United earlier in the window.
Joining him at Arsenal is his former Dortmund team-mate, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who joined the Gunners as part of the deal that saw Sanchez move to Old Trafford.
Aubameyang’s desire to leave the Bundesliga outfit had been widely reported after a series of discipline issues.
The former AC Milan and St. Etienne striker’s arrival at Arsenal will pave the way for Olivier Giroud to join Chelsea.
