Atletico Madrid don’t want to sell Yannick Carrasco this month, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The Belgian international has been linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the day but it seems he will not be departing La Liga this month as Diego Simeone aims to retain the services of the wide man.
Arsenal are not yet finished in the transfer market and remain on the lookout for added reinforcements. It does look as though they are closing in on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, though. The Gabon international is set to join for a fee of £53.5m, along with add-ons.

The Gunners were touted with a £44m move for Carrasco earlier on in the day but Atletico have seemingly been fast to refute these claims and express their desire to keep hold of the winger.
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo discussed the prospect of Carrasco leaving and was quick to stress his importance at the club.
Maybe it’s possible that a player leaves, but at the moment we don’t have anything planned. Carrasco is a magnificent player that suits us very well, [Kevin] Gameiro is an extraordinary forward. And I think that they are very well here.
