# Dortmund holding out for full price for Aubameyang

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly growing frustrated with Arsenal, with the two clubs still some way apart in valuation over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, [according to Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/dortmund-frustrated-as-arsenal-refuse-to-meet-aubameyang/1etuscxjlgnhn1sy3q6qptesy4).

Arsenal are keen to complete a deal to sign the 28-year old Gabon international, but are so far refusing to meet Dortmund’s asking price for the striker.

Aubameyang has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners, and is just waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement.

So far, Arsenal have failed with two tabled offers worth approximately €50million and €58million, both of which were rejected out of hand.

BVB are holding out for around €70million for the speedy forward, but could be tempted to compromise for €65million if negotiations continue to drag, while Arsenal remain confident.

Meanwhile, it had been reported that Olivier Giroud was likely to be a makeweight in the deal, but now [Sky Sports News](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/11222505/olivier-giroud-will-not-move-to-borussia-dortmund-from-arsenal-in-january) report that Giroud won’t be heading to the Bundesliga club this month.

Jonny Evans is also a top target for Arsene Wenger. Evans looked likely to move to the Etihad this month, but Manchester City are now said to be prioritising Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
