Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to keep Arsenal waiting in their pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners want to recruit the Gabon international this month as they go in search of added attacking inspiration. This comes after Alexis Sanchez was offloaded to Manchester United, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming in the opposite direction.
Arsenal feel Aubameyang would lift them back among the top clubs in the league and it seems they are keen to negotiate a deal with Dortmund as soon as possible.

However, according to the Mirror, Dortmund do not want to let their star man walk away easily. It’s claimed that if Arsenal fail to include Olivier Giroud as a makeweight in their pursuit of Aubameyang, they will pull the plug on negotiations until the summer.
Dortmund want to receive £60m from the sale of Aubameyang, which would go down as Arsenal’s club-record signing should they press ahead with the move.
It seems they are intent on replacing the former Saint-Etienne man immediately, though, and will only negotiate a deal this month if they receive France international Giroud in return.
