# Arsenal are relaxed over Sanchez-Mkhitaryan swap deal

Arsenal are confident that the Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan deal will go ahead without any hitches, despite the latest hold-up.

[The Mirror report](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-remain-confident-alexis-sanchez-11879984) that the club is relaxed about the situation, and that there is no issue with super agent Mino Raiola that will damage proceedings – although it may not be done until next week.

The deal is now in the last formalities stage and Arsenal are also confident that Mkhitaryan is keen to join the Gunners. However, with neither players able to play for the opposite club this weekend if a transfer did happen right now, the club’s aren’t in a rush to push the complex deal through.

Meanwhile, while Arsenal’s dealings with Raiola have been difficult – the agent has been plaing hardball over commission and contracts – the situation will not effect or derail the deal.

Once completed, Arsenal will look to Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as their next target, with Olivier Giroud expected to go the other way in a player-plus-cash move.
