Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he thinks the deal for Bordeaux attacker Malcom will not be completed, according to The Times reporter Gary Jacob.
When asked at his press conference as to whether he thinks Brazilian Malcom is close to joining the club, Wenger replied:
No. I don’t think we are close to doing that.

The Bordeaux winger, whose full name is Malcom Oliveira, was reportedly a replacement for the outgoing Alexis Sanchez but the Gunners have failed to enter advanced negotiations with the French Ligue 1 club.
Arsenal have also sold Englishman Theo Walcott, which had many people predicting that Malcom would definitely be joining the Gunners, but Wenger has pretty much ended all speculation regarding the transfer.
Malcom has been on the receiving end of disciplinary action from his club after posting a video on social media of his laughing and joking after a defeat to Caen.
The forward has since issued an apology to the club and to the fans, who weren’t pleased with the attitude he showed after the loss.
The 20-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the defeat and needs to step up his performances as his side currently sit in 13th position in the Ligue 1 table.
Meanwhile, the Gunners still negotiate a deal with Manchester United to bring Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the Emirates.
