Borussia Dortmund’s club sporting director Michael Zorc has responded and criticised Arsene Wenger over his comments which he made about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as reported by the London Evening Standard.
Arsenal are interested in signing the Gabon international this month as they look to replace Alexis Sanchez as he prepares to make his move to Manchester United.
The 28-year-old was this week handed his third suspension in the space of 12 months which has highlighted his desire to leave the club, something which Arsenal want to take advantage of.

The Dortmund sporting director spoke about the way Arsenal have handled the situation following the club’s potential move for the player.
We think it is a lack of respect when you get involved with players who are playing for another team.
He went on to speak about how the move his progressing, stating that the deal is not imminent.
There is no contact with Arsenal. We can only assume that Arsène Wenger has enough to think about when it comes to the performances of his own players.
