Alexis Sanchez’s proposed move to Manchester United will rely on Henrikh Mkhitaryan deciding to join Arsenal, according to the player’s agent Mino Raiola.
As reported by the Times, Raiola confirms that Mkhitaryan holds the key to the deal, with the Gunners searching for the Chilean’s replacement.
Manchester United is not going to sign Sánchez unless Mkhi agrees to join Arsenal. Sánchez is part of the Mkhi deal, not the other way around.

Mourinho hinted that Mkhitaryan could be involved in the deal to boost their chances of beating Manchester City to his signature.
Contrasting reports suggested that the Armenian wanted a return to his former side Borussia Dortmund, but the latter are not keen on a deal.
Manchester City had been leading the race to sign the player but the former Barcelona winger appears to be heading to Old Trafford, with United willing to pay £35 million for the player.
The Gunners have been linked with Mkhitaryan, Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bordeaux winger Malcom as possible replacements in January.
