# Arsenal to make cash and player offer for Aubameyang

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a cash plus player offer for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The [London Evening Standard](https://twitter.com/sjstandardsport/status/953224756597264384) reports that the Gunners will offer the Bundesliga side £35 million and French striker Olivier Giroud in the hope of completing a deal.

Aubameyang have been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, with the Gunners looking to replace Alexis Sanchez, who looks set to join Manchester United.

The Gabon international is reportedly unhappy in Germany and is openly looking to leave the club.

Giroud has been unable to break into the Gunners side this season, with Arsene Wenger preferring summer signing Alexandre Lacazette.

The French striker has seen most of his football come off the bench in the Premier League this season, or in the Europa League.

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Bordeaux winger Malcom and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who could join the Gunners as part of the Sanchez deal.
