According to a report from the Mirror, Arsenal have taken another big step towards completing a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
It’s claimed that the Gunners have reached an agreement with the Gabon international over personal terms as they look to conclude a deal to bring him to the Emirates this month.
Aubameyang has once again been disciplined by Dortmund and it seems a move away from the Bundesliga is on the cards in the January transfer window. Arsenal may need to replace Alexis Sanchez as he nears a move away from the club and it seems Aubameyang is the man who has been lined up.
The report claims that the ball is now in Arsenal’s court and they will hope to negotiate a reasonable fee for the striker’s services with Borussia Dortmund.
Reports from Germany last night indicated that Arsenal would be willing to part with a club-record fee in order to land Aubameyang, with Dortmund keen to receive a huge sum from his potential sale.
