Arsenal are reportedly readying a fresh bid for Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez ahead of the January transfer window.
According to a report from Algerian news outlet Le Buteur, as cited by Inside Futbol, the Gunners are putting the finishing touches on a new and improved proposal for the tricky winger.
Mahrez handed in a transfer request at the end of last season at the King Power Stadium, but no move away materialised for the Algeria international.
He has not let this influence his performance levels, though, and has been in sublime form since the arrival of Claude Puel in the managerial hot-seat at the club.
Mahrez was of interest to Arsenal in the summer but no move eventually went through, with the likes of PSG and Barcelona both linked with the Foxes star as well.
The report does indicate, however, that the Foxes are skeptical over selling Mahrez quickly, with the side keen to bolster their own ranks in January.
