# Zaha “easily good enough” for Gunners says Wright

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has stated that Crystal Palace winger Wilfred Zaha is ‘easily good enough’ to play for the Gunners, with Arsenal recently being linked with the player, [Football London reports.](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/wilfried-zaha-arsenal-transfer-spurs-14083888)

With Arsenal and their North London rivals Tottenham both linked with the player, Wright believes that the Ivorian international would be a useful addition to either side and has urged his former club to do everything they can to sign the winger.

Zaha has impressed at Selhurst Park since the arrival of Roy Hodgson, finding the back of the net four times, and has been the Eagles’ stand out performer.

When asked about Zaha and the possibility of his former side making a move, Wright said:

> Spurs have been linked. Arsenal have been linked, on ability wise, he is easily good enough. To play in a certain system, I’m not sure. He is a maverick.

With Palace bracing themselves for offers for Zaha in January, they may face a tough task in order to keep their star player at Selhurst Park for the second half of the season.
