# PSG demanding £40m for Draxler

PSG are demanding £40m for Arsenal transfer target Julian Draxler in the January transfer window.

[According to The Mirror,](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/psg-name-price-arsenal-target-11751737) PSG are only willing to let Draxler leave if Arsenal match his valuation of £40m.

PSG are also interested in signing Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez. His contract expires at the end of the season, meaning PSG could sign him for free.

The report does claim, however, that Manchester City are still the favourites to sign Sanchez next summer.

PSG do have an edge, though, as they can agree a pre-contract in January. Manchester City have to wait until Sanchez is a free agent to secure a deal, unless they want to pay money in January.

Arsenal are open to selling in January, but are looking for £35m to let Sanchez leave midway through the season.

Draxler is seen as a replacement for Sanchez, as Wenger has eyed the German for a number of seasons.
