Olivier Giroud may have an unexpected Christmas present this week with his agent due to hold talks with Arsenal.
The Mirror reports that the French striker will discuss his immediate future after starting just one Premier League game this season.
Giroud has seen the majority of his football come in the Europa League following the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to Everton throughout the summer but a deal did not go through.
It’s yet to be seen whether or not Everton will rekindle their interest with Sam Allardyce now in charge at Goodison Park.
West Ham have also been linked with a move for the striker who has struggled with injury problems as well this season.
In 15 appearances in the Premier League this season, Giroud has netted four times after coming off the bench 14 times.
