Jack Wilshere has spoken to Sky Sports News about his current contract situation at Arsenal, and what he wants for his future.
Wilshere’s contract at the Emirates runs out in the summer of 2018 and he finds himself in similar positions with his contract as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, who both look likely to leave the Gunners either in the January transfer window or in the summer as free agents.
As his contract does run out next summer, Wilshere is able to talk to foreign clubs on a pre-contract agreement when the January transfer window opens, with Marseille and several Spanish sides interested.
However, it looks as if the contract situation may be over before the transfer window even opens.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Wilshere outlined his ambition.
I definitely want to be here. We just have to sort things out and I’m sure that will happen in the next couple of weeks and it will be sorted.
The 25-year-old, who turns 26 on New Year’s Day, has been at Arsenal his whole career, bar the loan move to Bournemouth in the last Premier League season, and wishes to stay at the Emirates even longer.
He has recently been getting more minutes under his belt for Arsenal, which is good news for himself and the Arsenal faithful, with him featuring in the last two Premier League games against West Ham and Newcastle United.
