Juventus are reportedly interested in a move for Arsneal defender Shodran Mustafi.
The German international has been in mixed form for the Gunners this season and is currently nursing a knock, which he sustained during Arsenal’s recent 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester United.
However, this has not put off potential suitors, according to Italian news outlet Rai Sport (via Calciomercato). Reigning Serie A champions Juventus are apparently keen to sign Mustafi.
Arsenal are understood to be keen on retaining Mustafi’s services for the remainder of the season, but Juventus are hoping to secure a deal when the transfer window opens in January.
Benedikt Howedes has sustained an injury that is set to keep him out for a prolonged period of time, which has seen Juventus search around for new defensive reinforcements.
Arsenal are already thin in terms of depth at the back, and it seems unlikely that they would consider a sale in January.
