When entering European competition, whether it be the Champions League or the Europa League that Arsenal find themselves in, the ideal scenario is always qualifying through the groups with games to spare, and that’s what the Gunners have done.

With a spot in the last 32 as group winners booked in, Arsene Wenger can afford to rotate and experiment tonight when they welcome BATE Borisov to the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger has not shied away from blooding youngsters in the competition this season and he is set to do so again tonight as marquee names such as Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette are all expected to be handed the night off.
