Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi has long been linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Frenchman has gone from strength to strength since leaving Stoke City, with him establishing himself as a pivotal player for La Liga side Sevilla.
This has, inevitably, prompted links to a host of other top clubs across Europe, including Arsenal. The Gunners are now said to be on red alert, with N’Zonzi having been made to train alone by Sevilla boss Eduardo Berizzo, according to Spanish news outlet Diario AS (via talkSPORT).
Berizzo and N’Zonzi are claimed to have had a dispute recently, leading to the Argentine manager forcing him out of first-team training for the time being.
The 28-year-old is a coveted player and if there is a chance of him departing the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in the near future, Arsenal will surely be weighing up a move.
N’Zonzi remains a key player for Berizzo, though, despite the pair’s rocky relationship.
