Arsenal reportedly want to sign Novara youngster Alessio Da Cruz.
According to the Mirror, the Gunners are among a host of Premier League clubs who are keen to land the Dutchman, who has been lighting up Serie B in recent times.
Da Cruz, who is just 20-years-old, has been in good form for Novara this season. He has netted a more than respectable total of five goals in 12 games for his side as he continues to grow on the senior stage.
The young striker failed to really cement his place in FC Twente’s first-team plans, which saw him join Novara last summer. It seems this move has absolutely paid dividends for the attacker, who has gained plenty of first-team experience out in Italy.
Da Cruz is a versatile player and is capable of playing on either flank. However, he is best utilised through the middle, as embodied by his impressive goal scoring tally at this early stage of the campaign.
