Petr Cech refuses to give up on Premier League title chase

According to the Daily Mail, Petr Cech refuses to give up on winning the Premier League this season, despite being 12 points behind leaders Manchester City.

After beating North London rivals Tottenham last week, Arsenal carried on their good form by beating Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor yesterday, which has proved a hard task for many since the beginning of last season, so confidence is now very high over at The Emirates.

With this win, The Gunners managed to climb back into the top 4, which they missed out on last season and where many of their fans think they belong.

However, former Premier League winner with Chelsea, Cech, is aiming higher than the Champions League places with Arsenal this season, he said

We need to play game by game and not think too much about what’s going on around us because the only way is if you win your game you give yourself a chance, so this is what we have in our mind,

We win our game and let’s see how the others are going. The teams at this moment who are above us, if they keep going and keep winning, then you can’t catch them, but you need to make sure that you win your game first and then let’s see what will happen.

Arsenal have been on a good run of form recently and have now reached to within a point of Premier League holders Chelsea, but the Czech goalkeeper wishes to catch both Manchester clubs in the title race.
