Arsenal Player Ratings: Burnley (A)

Arsenal bounced back from disappointment in midweek to secure a 1-0 win away at Burnley on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners’ last Premier League outing resulted in a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur. However, Arsene Wenger’s men were defeated 1-0 by rock-bottom Bundesliga side Cologne in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

A response was needed and – eventually – this is what Arsenal produced at Turf Moor.

It was a cagey affair throughout, with both sides battling hard throughout. However, it was a last gasp penalty call from referee Lee Mason that helped Arsenal to a win.

James Tarkowski was judged to have pushed Aaron Ramsey over in stoppage time, leading to much controversy.

Alexis Sanchez stepped up after the disarray to coolly dispatch the spot kick, handing Arsenal an all-important three points on the road.

Here’s how we rated Arsenal’s players in their 1-0 win against Burnley.
