Yet another international break passes, and the weekend presents a chance for Arsenal to prove their credentials after a sorry loss away at Manchester City. There, it seemed Wenger surprised everyone through his choice of Coquelin; before the game, a 4-3-2-1 of sorts was assumed, though it was clear that the Frenchman would simply slot into the back three.
I’d expect much the same at home to a rampant Spurs – a team which, containing the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son, can create and score anywhere in the final third. Koscielny and Monreal have been playing fairly well at the back (as have the wing backs), but who will take the final spot at centre-half?
Otherwise – and as much as I’m against Alexis playing – I think we’ll have much the same front five, with Lacazette replacing Iwobi.
