Bolton cash in on Rob Holding appearance fee

According to The Bolton News, Bolton Wanderers have cashed in on Rob Holding’s appearances early to help with cash flow at the club.

Holding joined The Gunners in 2016 for £2.5m which had the potential to rise to £5m depending on appearances.

Bolton have asked Arsenal if they can receive the appearance fee earlier than expected to help with the problems the club are facing this season, a spokesman for Bolton has said that it is possible due to the two clubs’ great relationship.

It has been reported that the fee has been decreased as a repercussion for asking for the fee early.

There were other bonuses in the transfer as well as the appearance fee, one was concerning being called up to the England under-21 side, which was triggered very soon after the defender completed the transfer to Arsenal.

Many believe Holding can be the next big thing for Arsenal and England, as he has shown many great abilities and attributes in the Premier League and Champions League at the age of 22.
