With Alexis Sanchez’s future up in the air, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is thought to be open to the idea of swapping Sanchez with Paris Saint-Germain winger Julian Draxler, the Daily Star report.
It is believed that if Sanchez decides to leave in January, Wenger would want to sell the Chilean to a European side and not Manchester City.
Paris Saint-Germain are one of a number of European sides interested in Sanchez’s signature, and Wenger would want a guaranteed replacement in return, rather than cash, with that being long term target Draxler.
With the forward’s contract up in the summer, Arsenal are thought to want £30 million for Sanchez in January, however, if the Gunners can strike up a swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain for the out of favour Draxler, then it could be a positive outcome for both parties.
Wenger has been a big fan of Draxler, with the German being linked with a move to the Emirates for the past two seasons.
