Arsenal target Nabil Fekir is interested in making the switch to England if he were to leave Lyon.
Fekir has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal and has now claimed that he is attracted to the prospect of moving to Spain or England.
Speaking to La Parisien, Fekir said this:
Spain and England are two very attractive championships
Me, I like the game, the beautiful game. The teams that are only in the duel do not interest me. That’s not football.
The forward has been in scintillating form for Lyon this season, with 11 goals in 11 Ligue 1 matches this season.
Naturally, Ligue 1 heavyweights PSG have been linked, but Fekir says that he has no interested in any French club outside of Lyon.
When you are Lyonnais, the only attractive French club remains Lyon.
There isn’t another which tempts me more than that.
If he were to leave his current club, it would likely be to Spain or England, with Arsenal one of his potential suitors.
Fekir has been with Lyon his whole career and has scored 38 Ligue 1 goals in 97 appearances for the club since breaking into the first-team in the 2013/14 campaign.
