# Arsenal eyeing Milan forward Andre Silva

Arsenal are eyeing up a move for AC Milan striker Andre Silva as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

[According to The Guardian,](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/oct/17/transfer-rumours-marcos-alonso-barcelona-julian-weigl-manchester-city) Arsenal have resigned to losing Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez and have turned their attentions to the forward.

Silva signed for Milan for €40m from Porto in the summer, with Arsenal now looking to bring him to England.

The report claims that Ozil could leave as early as January. Inter Milan are keen to snap him up and could make a move before his contract expires next summer.

Sanchez, meanwhile, is also expected to leave on a free transfer. His deal expires at the end of the season and looks increasingly unlikely to sign a new contract.

Silva has yet to score a league goal for Milan this season. He has scored six goals in eight Europa League games, though.

The Portuguese international has scored 11 goals in 17 games for his country.
