# Sanchez has decided on his next club says Bayern chief

Bayern Munich’s president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge believes that Alexis Sanchez has already decided on his next club so the German champions will not be making a move for the player in January.

When quizzed about a potential move for the Chilean, Rummenigge told Sky Germany, as reported by the [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2017/11/04/bayern-munich-chief-claims-alexis-sanchez-has-already-decided-january-transfer-7054121/?ito=cbshare) that the door is closed from Bayern’s perspective.

Bayern were linked with a move for the player during the summer but were unable to agree on a deal that would suit them financially, with the player’s wages appearing to be a stumbling block.

Manchester City were also heavily linked with a move for Sanchez but Arsene Wenger refused to sell the player.

The Frenchman was desperate to keep Sanchez at the club as he went in search of that elusive Premier League title.

With Sanchez’s contract running out at the end of the season, Arsenal now face the prospect of losing the player for nothing if they do not sell in January.
