Barcelona are set to challenge Arsenal to the signing of Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco next summer.
According to The Telegraph, Barcelona could make an offer for Lemar at the end of the season, which would hinder Arsenal’s chances of landing him.
The report claims that Lemar is still Arsenal’s top transfer target and the club remain keen to bring him to England.
The Telegraph mention that Liverpool also hold an interest in Lemar, though it is not as serious as Arsenal’s.

They also claim that Arsenal came close to signing Lemar on deadline day earlier this year.
Arsenal lodged a £90m bid for the winger – a club-record – but were unable to force a deal over the line.
That meant that the club pulled the plug on Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester City – which was set to be £60m.
The Gunners will now have to battle Barcelona to complete the signing next summer.
