Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has not been contacted officially by Manchester United yet, but the Red Devils are weighing up a move for the German, who is interested in making the move in the summer transfer window, according to a report on the Manchester Evening News.
Ozil is demanding £202,000 a week at the Emirates but the club are not willing to pay his such high wages, which is why the German has not signed a new contract at the club.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still keen to keep Ozil at the club but in the summer, the playmaker will be free to choose his next club on a free transfer with Manchester United tipped to be one of the clubs fighting for his signature.
United have not officially made an approach for Ozil, but it is understood that Ozil wouldn’t mind making a move to Old Trafford to reunite himself with Jose Mourinho.
The pair have had an extremely healthy relationship ever since their time working together in Spain for Real Madrid and have remained in contact ever since they went their separate ways.
A source close to Ozil revealed that he would only consider making a move to three clubs, United, Barcelona and former club Real Madrid.
