Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has been advising youngster Reiss Nelson on the path he must take to reach the top of the game.
Sanchez has been in good form in recent times, and played a big part in Arsenal’s rather impressive 5-2 win away at Everton at the weekend.
Nelson, on the other hand, hasn’t been as prominent a feature in Arsenal’s first-team this season, but has been making several appearances in cup competitions, such as the Europa League and the Carabao Cup.
The youngster has been used in a variety of roles by manager Arsene Wenger, but is clearly improving, and displaying immense potential on the flanks for Arsenal.
As quoted by Goal, Chile international Sanchez admitted that Nelson has “real talent”, but called on the 17-year-old to keep working hard.
Reiss has real talent, but he still has a lot to learn from other players. From playing more matches and getting more experience. That’s exactly what the boss is providing for him, so that he can carry on improving as a player.
He must train every day and get better every day. It’s all down to him whether or not he wants to end up at the very top of the sport.
Nelson will now be keen to impress once again, when Arsenal welcome Norwich City to the Emirates Stadium in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
