Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud says the Gunners have Petr Cech to thank after the club secured another three points in the Europa League away to Red Star Belgrade on Thursday.
As reported by ESPN, Giroud praised the former Chelsea man after a number of brilliant saves.
We owe him maybe the win today because he has been amazing two or three times. We know he has this quality and he was a great goalkeeper tonight.
Arsenal stole the points late on thanks to a goal in the 85th minute from Giroud as Arsene Wenger named a young squad.
The likes of Jack Wilshere and Reiss Nelson both caught the eye in what was an impressive performance from the Gunners.
Arsenal currently sit top of Group H, with nine points from their first three matches, leaving them in a strong position to not only qualify but top the group as well.
Wenger’s men bounced back from the 2-1 defeat away to Watford in the Premier League and travel to Everton this weekend.
