It was all going so well!
Arsenal looked in relative control of things at Vicarage Road as they led Watford 1-0 thanks to a rare goal from Per Mertesacker.
The home side saw a fair bit of the ball but were not creating much but with around 20 minutes to go, winger Richarlison tumbled over in the box, despite very little contact from Hector Bellerin and the referee bought his dive and awarded a penalty.
Troy Deeney, who had not long been on the pitch, took it and scored to make it 1-1.
Arsenal, who had chances to put the game to bed as neither Alex Iwobi or Mesut Ozil could beat Heurelho Gomes, were hit with a late sucker punch when the ball fell kindly to Tom Cleverly in the box and he slotted home to snatch all three points.
