Arsenal target Martial not thinking about future

Arsenal continue to identify potential replacements for Alexis Sanchez who appears set to leave the Gunners either in January or next summer and have reportedly been eyeing a move for Anthony Martial.

Reports have claimed that Arsenal have already seen an opening bid turned down for the 2015 European Golden Boy award winner but they remain interested in signing the France international.

Despite starting just one Premier League game this season, Martial has no plans to leave Manchester United in the near future having already netted five goals and provided five assists this season, seeing him named as United’s player of the month for September.

The 21-year-old is believed to be very confident he can make a big impact at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho after he talked Martial out of joining Sevilla on loan last season.

Martial joined United in a deal that could rise to £58m and Arsenal would likely have to shell out a fee in excess of this is they are to sign the forward.
