# Sparta Prague man dreaming of Arsenal move

Sparta Prague midfielder Michal Sacek has been discussing how he harbours an ambition to follow in his teammate Tomas Rosicky’s footsteps and play for Arsenal.

In an interview with Italian news outlet [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/da-soucek-a-sacek-caccia-all-erede-di-schick-89779), Sacek discussed the prospect of moving away from Prague, and hinted that a move to Arsenal would be a dream scenario for him.

Sacek plays alongside Rosicky, who spent the large portion of his playing days at the Emirates Stadium, before he returned to his homeland of the Czech Republic.

> Tomas has always been my model. It’s great to be in (the) team with him. After each game, he gives me advice and helps me analyse the performance.

> I wonder if one day I can follow in his footsteps on the pitch of the Emirates Stadium.

21-year-old midfielder Sacek is evidently a huge admirer of Rosicky and what he has achieved in his career, and it appears as though he’d be keen to emulate his journey.

Sacek has enjoyed a considerably positive start to the campaign with Sparta Prague. He has made six appearances already this season and is enjoying continuous development with his side.

Whether Arsenal are interested in the youngster of not is unknown, but the player himself is evidently open to the prospect of moving on to a bigger club at some stage.
